Ocoee, FL-Quinton Huey Norris, age 81 of Ocoee, FL passed away suddenly on June 14, 2012 while visiting his relative in Kinston County, Alabama.

He was born on June 7, 1931 in Alabama son of the late Travis Troy and Lillie Mae (Henderson) Norris and educated in Alabama. He was last employed with Winter Garden Citrus retiring after nearly 50 years of dedicated service. Mr. Norris was married to the former Sara Nell Wright enjoying over 50 years of marriage until her passing. Quinton enjoyed the time spent with his family, especially his son Steve attending the Paul’s Smoke House in Titusville and treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren. ‘

Survivors include his children, Stephen Norris and wife Sandra of Titusville, Stephanie A. Norris Ellis of Ocoee; his siblings, Foster Norris of Gant, Alabama; two grandchildren, Michael Ellis and Brandon Ritz.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Ocoee Church of God, Ocoee, from 10-11 am on Thursday, June 21, 2012 and invited to his funeral service commencing also on Thursday at 11 am at the Ocoee Church of God with Pastor Thomas Odom, officiating. Procession will follow to Ocoee Cemetery where Mr. Norris will be laid to rest alongside his wife. Arrangements are in the caring guidance of Ocoee Family Funeral & Cremation Chapel-Daniel J.
