Julia Rebecca “Becky” Holton, 88, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on June 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Becky was born on January 7, 1929, in Florida, the daughter of the late Lee Allen Halford and Lillie Mae (Yoemans) Halford. Becky was the wife of the Late Richard Alison Sanders and the Late John Franklin Holton.
Becky was a Banker for over 30 years, she started with the First National Bank of Winter Garden, and retired from Wells Fargo. She was a very active member with the Beulah Baptist Church, she held just about every position at the church, from Sunday school teacher, to being in the Choir and the WMU. Becky was also a member of the Red Hat Society. For fun she loved to garden, she had a green thumb and could grow anything. She also loved to go fishing often being the only one to catch fish.
Becky is survived by two daughters: Iris Peterson, of Winter Garden, FL and Rebecca Jeancola and (Dan) of Maitland, FL. One step son, Gary Holton of Shoreline, WA. Three grandchildren. One step grandchild. Four great grandchildren. Four step great grandchildren. A sister Faye Albritton and (William) of Willow Oak, FL. She is preceded in death by her son Richard A. “Ricky” Sanders.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 12 , 2017 at 10:30am at Beulah Baptist Church, 671 Beulah Rd, Winter Garden, FL officiated by her beloved nephew, David Cravey. Followed by burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Beulah Baptist Church Building fund.
