Obituary for Betty Crispen

Betty Crispen, 78 of Winter Garden, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.

Betty was born on April 30, 1939, in Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Earl Bailey and Ruth (Mossburg) Bailey. She was the loving wife to Roscoe Lee Crispen for 60 wonderful years.

Betty was a Day Care provider for many years, she had a natural gift of patience and kindness to all children, and the children they loved her. Betty enjoyed cruising with her family and friends. Her family was everything to her, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She will truly be missed.

Besides her husband Roscoe L. Crispen, she is survived by five children: Connie Schwind (Dennis) of Pemberville, OH, David L. Crispen (Debra) of Parma, OH, Michael A. Crispen (Rebecca) of Winter Garden, FL, Steven K. Crispen (Chris) of Genoa, OH, and Kimberly S. Crispen, of Winter Garden, FL. Seven grandchildren: Nathan and Scott Schwind of Pemberville, OH, Brittany Clevenger of Cleveland, OH, Amanda Houn of Cleveland, OH, Joshua and Ryan Crispen of Winter Garden, FL and Shelby Crispen of Freemont, OH. A special granddaughter: Skylar Adams, Swanton, OH. Eight great-grandchildren: Vanessa Watson of Wayne, OH, Hunter Schwind of Wayne, OH, Michael Schwind of Swanton, OH, Peyton and Aideyn Clevenger, of Cleveland, OH, Austin, Zachary and Olivia Houn of Cleveland, OH. Two great-great-grandchildren: Callie and Hannah Watson of Wayne, OH. Two brothers: John Erb (Pam) of Toledo, OH, Bill Erb of Toledo, OH. Two sisters: Carol Vasquez of Austin, TX and Irene Roughton of Toledo, OH. Along with two special people that were in her life, Wahnetta Crispen and Amanda Schwind. Betty was preceded in death by Ruth Ann Hagberg and Earl Bailey, Jr.
