Patricia Jones, 84, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her home.
Patricia was born on September 20, 1933 in the District of Columbia. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward Maisel and Loretta Elizabeth Doolan. Patricia was the loving wife to Alan Stanley Jones.
Patricia was the cafeteria manager at West Orange High School from the time it opened until 1989 when she retired. She was a pilot and loved to fly. She was also a licensed HAM radio operator. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Patricia is survived her husband, Alan Stanley Jones and by her sons: Bruce Jones of Apopka, FL, Christopher Jones and Cindy of Orlando, FL, and Kevin Jones of Winter Garden, FL. Grandchildren: Sara Jones of Mount Dora, Shawn Jones and Bonnie of Winter Garden, FL, Ryan Jones and Michele of Satellite Beach, FL. Great-grandchildren: Maia Jones of Winter Garden, FL, Gage Jones of Mount Dora, FL, and Riley Youngs of Mount Dora, FL. Niece Jeanna Marie Jones of Lafayette, Indiana. Patricia was Predeceased by her son Michael Alan Jones.
Patricia was an active choir member and long time parishioner of Shady Grove Methodist Church in Waynesville, NC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the church in Patricia's name will be appreciated.
