Betty Jean Silver, age 69 of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2018 following a brief illness with her loving family by her side.

She was born October 20, 1948 to the late Cecil and Mary Creech. Betty was a beloved member of the Winter Garden community and worked at Jimmy's Thriftway, Big Lots, and Ace Hardware over several decades. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her large family, and preparing for big holiday gatherings.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jackie Silver; parents, Cecil and Mary Creech; brothers, Stanley Creech, Jimmy Creech, Henry Creech; grandson, Christopher Andrews. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Kerry) Andrews; sons, Paul (Lori) Silver, Matthew Silver, Jeffrey Silver; sisters Virginia Naylor, Nancy Creech, Donna Hendrix, Debbie Rogers, Susie Miller, JoJo Forehand; brother, Tommy Creech; grandchildren, Adam, Zachary, Kristen, Lindsey, Nicholas, Hannah and Caybel; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 am with funeral service following at 12:00 pm at Winter Oak Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Shaver officiating. Internment will follow at Ferndale Cemetery where Betty will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Jackie.
