It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Anne Kimbel Scheele announces her passing on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the age of 87 years. Born on March 5, 1931 to the parents of Fredrick and Alberta Kimbel in Masontown, PA. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Matthew Scheele (October 1, 1928 - April 23, 2018) of Washington D.C. and by her brother, Herbert Kimbel of West Palm Beach, FL. She leaves behind three surviving children (Karen Deane, Terrence Scheele and Timothy Scheele), three loving grandchildren (Kate Bowman, Matthew Deane and Dave Scheele) and three great grandchildren (Jacob Bowman, Lillian Deane and Reid Bowman).

A funeral service in memory of Barbara will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00a.m., at the Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant St. Winter Garden, FL 34787. Memorial donations in memory of Barbara may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place in Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org
