Eric Craan, aged 76, died September 30th, 2018, at his home in Windermere, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on May 26th, 1942 to Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Anna Craan. He is survived by his wife Yudelka, son Christopher, daughters Pascale and Kristen, grandchild Cameron, and many friends and family.

Eric graduated from Queens College of the City University of New York on June 7th, 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts and a concentration in business accounting. Shortly thereafter, he was hired by the Board of Education of the City of New York as a Fiscal Manager, and soon rose to the position of Assistant Budget Manager, Division of High Schools. As an internal audit professional, he later sat for the Certified Internal Auditor exam and received his credentials as a CIA. Certified Internal Auditor is the only global designation in the field of internal auditing and compliance.

Eric loved fast cars, classic rock and roll, jazz, The Blues Brothers and was an avid fan of Sunday football. Most of all, he enjoyed the challenge of home-improvement and engaged in multiple improvement projects throughout his life.

A Memorial Service will be held for Eric on Sunday, October 7th, 2018 from 12:30pm – 1:30pm at Oasis Church Windermere, Keene’s Crossing Elementary, 5240 Keenes Pheasant Drive, Windermere, FL 34786, Pastor Luis Ortiz officiating.
