Geneva, FL-Gladys E. Ellis, age 93, of Geneva, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, February 22, 2013 at Winter Park Hospital.

She was born on January 15, 1920, and has been a longtime Florida resident. She was united in marriage with Carl W. Ellis, who preceded her in death. Gladys was employed as a linotype operator with the Orlando Sentinel Newspaper.

Survivors include her beloved family; her daughter, Barbara Martin of Geneva, Jerry Ellis and wife Gail of South Carolina, Tony Ellis and wife Victoria of Geneva; grandchildren, Barbara, Tommy, Randy, Jeff, Steve, John and Jason; great grandchildren, Michael, Brad, Tiffany, Kara, Jacob, Ayden, Jack, Witt, Tyler, and Todd; great great granddaughter, Lacie. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marvin. Gladys loved fishing and gardening.

There will be a graveside service commencing at 10 am on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 with Gladys’ grandson, Elder Randy Ellis, officiating. The service will be held at Geneva Cemetery, 240 1st St., Geneva, FL. Arrangements are in the caring guidance of Ocoee Family Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 101 W. McKey St., Ocoee, FL 34761-Daniel J.
