Obituary for Jean Anthony

Jean Marie Anthony, 91, of Winter Garden, Florida began her new life in Heaven on June 19, 2018.

Jean was born on April 6, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of David and Ellen Levy (Cramp). She had 4 brothers and 2 sisters. She married Tony Anthony and moved to Orlando in 1946.

Jean’s specialty was homemaker and mother. However, her Christian spirit was quite evident in her other desires of the heart. One being that she was a life-long volunteer in hospitals, schools, churches, thrift stores and her last mission as a ‘packing crew director’ at Bread of Life/Southeastern Food Bank. At one time, she even transcribed books into braille for students. She also sang in a church choir most of her life. Her legacy is that she was a grandmother to 55 of God’s gifts.

Jean is survived by four children, William Anthony, Christos Anthony, Mark Anthony and Kathleen Eme along with many grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral arrangements are in the caring guidance of Winter Oak Funeral Home, Winter Garden.

Jean’s service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 125 N. Lakeview Ave, Winter Garden, FL 34787 (Additional parking on Boyd St.). She will be interred at Winter Garden Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Southeastern Food Bank, P.O. Box 770451, Winter Garden, FL 34777
