Obituary for Lessie Mae Slade

On November 28, 1936, GOD loaned a beautiful baby girl to Jimmy Alford and Hattie Rohn in Quincey, Florida. The named her Lessie Mae Slade, she was one of five siblings, two boys and three sisters.

Lessie received her early education in the public schools in Windermere, Florida. She was a member of the Church of the Cross in Orlando, Florida. She was an employee of Herbert A. Smith and retired after many years of service.

Lessie Mae Slade departed this life Monday, December 17, 2018 at Orlando Health Medical Hospital in Orlando, Florida.

She was proceeded in death by her parents: Jimmy Alford and Hattie Rohn, brothers: Robert Lee Hall and Junior Murray, sister: Essie Mae Alford, Husband John Slade, son Lawrence "Pop" Alford.

Lessie leaves to cherished her memory, her loving and devoted daughter: Minnie Pearl Crayton (Alfredo) of Orlando, Florida, stepdaughters: Belinda Slade of Kissimmee, Florida, Elaine Slade and Tina Millhouse (Howard) of Orland, Florida, a special beloved grandson: Brain Keith Slade, granddaughter: Nakeasha Soloman (Brain), great grandson: NaBron Solomon and great granddaughter: NaBresha Solomon all of Orlando, Florida, and great grandson: Justin Gray of Tildenville, Florida, sisters: Vivian "Bessie" Allen and Irene Lee of Orlando Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends: Jerome Stephen, Lonnie and Gloria Holmes of Valdosta, Georgia, Seabell Smith-Dymmek of St. Cloud, Florida, Frazier Family of Lake County, Florida, Dwainn and Pat Arnett of Orlando, Florida.
