Obituary for Colin Cone

Colin Michael Cone, 47, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 25, 2019, in St. Augustine, Florida.

Colin was born on September 21, 1971 in Orlando, Florida, the youngest child of Dennis Michael Cone of Palm Coast, Fl and the late Loraine “Gayle” Cone of Orlando, Fl.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Marie Farmer Cone and their four children, Tanner Michael Cone, Riley-Gayl Cone, and Tyler Simpson of Saint Augustine, FL and Leah Lewis of Colorado Springs, CO; his father, Dennis Michael Cone (Laura) of Palm Coast, FL; his sister, Charmon Cone Shuford (Tal) of Orlando, FL, his loving nephews, Wyatt Shuford, Carson Shuford and the late William Talmage Shuford IV.

Colin grew up in College Park-Orlando, FL and went to Edgewater High School where he was on the golf team. Upon graduation from high school he attended Santa Fe Junior College in Gainesville, Fl. He attended his childhood church, Orlando Community Church when he was in town visiting. He was a talented golfer from a young age and loved the game, loved hunting and fishing, cooking for others, enjoyed his daily devotions, spending time with family and friends, was a fan of all sports and especially loved watching the Florida Gators.

Colin had a big heart of gold and a magnetic personality. He was a man of God who loved the Lord, his family, friends, neighbors and clients. He was a loving and precious son, husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He had a love for life, he was very social, the life of the party, ethical, creative and so talented with his hands. He could fix anything. He had a twinkle in his eye, a beautiful warm and welcoming smile and oh my, that grin. In his neighborhood, he was often referred to as the mayor of Heritage Landing at the World Golf Village and could be found fixing things in the neighborhood or in his garden. The love of the outdoors, the beach, movies and music were something he shared with his kids and family. We will greatly miss his smiling face, big hugs, and the joy that he brought to so many. We are not saying good bye, rather we will see you in Heaven CC.
