Helen Marie Tigue Tricoli, age 82, of Orlando, Fl passed into her heavenly eternal
home on March 6, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October
26, 1936 in Scranton, PA daughter of the late William James and Helen (Kohl) Tigue.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, John Anthony Tricoli,
Jr. and son, James Lawrence Tricoli.
Helen, affectionately known as GiGi by her great-grandchildren, enjoyed spending
time with family and friends. She especially cherished moments with her
grandchildren and created beautiful memories that will remain with them forever.
Her generous heart filled her home with love, fun, great meals, and beautiful music.
Special occasions were always highlighted by her angelic voice singing the song
Summertime, her personal favorite. Helen’s life was filled with many travels. Ireland
was dear to her heart where she felt a close connection with her ancestors. A love of
books and spending time with her dog and best friend, Finnegan, brought much joy
to her life. She was an elegant lady who was loved by many and her presence will be
truly missed.
Helen is survived by three sons; John A. Tricoli III (Joy), William J. Tricoli (Robin
Yeager) and Christopher J. Tricoli; six grandchildren, William Tricoli II (Robbin),
Maria Armstrong (Matt), Michael Tricoli (Kelsey), Christen Andreoni (Chris), John
Tricoli IV and Anna Tricoli; three great-grandchildren, William Tricoli III, Samantha
Tricoli, and Michael Tricoli II. And many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Helen’s life will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Holy Family
Catholic Church, 5125 S. Apopka-Vineland Road, Orlando, Florida. Visitation with
Family will begin at 10:00am, Funeral Mass at 11:00am.
Family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2019, 1:00 – 2:30pm at E. Alvin
Small Funeral Home, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia. Interment will
follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
