October 22, 1937 – April 2, 2019
Mrs. Jewell Poe, 81 of Apopka, FL., went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2019 at 12:30 a.m., surrounded by her loving family. Everyone knew her as Mama. She opened her heart and home to everyone with love and kindness.
She was a homemaker and lived in Florida most of her life.
She is survived by daughters: Marlene Sprouse of Apopka, FL., Donna Watson (Tom) of Apopka, FL., Debbie Roop of Wekiva, FL., and Dianne Poe of Interlachen, FL. Sons: Raymond Poe and Steven Poe of Interlachen, FL., Shannon Poe and Melvin Poe of Apopka FL. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also, survived by: Dorothy Waldon (sister), James Hall (brother), Lester Hall (brother) and Ralph Hall (brother).
She is preceded in death by Raymond Poe (husband), Ruth and Alivn Hall (parents), Gordon Hall (brother), Margaret Montieth (sister), Louise Thompson (sister).
Mama will be forever missed and remembered dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held at Temple Free Will Baptist Church, 1208 E. Story Road, Winter Garden FL 34787. On Friday April 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
