Hubert Leaston Gillard , 83, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Cornerstone Hospice, Clermont, Florida.
Hubert was born in Winter Garden, Florida on April 28, 1936 to the late Roscoe and Carrie Gillard. He was the loving husband to Erma Lee Gillard.
Hubert was a Superintendent with Diamond R. Commercial Fishermen for 23 years, he also was a Bee Keeper and a Welder for Lotts Concrete, Inc. He enjoyed many hobbies: Hunting, Fishing, Gardening, watching Golf and spending time with his family.
Hubert is survived by his loving wife Erma. Son: Junior Gillard; Daughters: Sheree Gillard, Kay Creech and son-in-law James Creech (Bubba), Grandson Matthew Creech. Brother: Raymond Gillard, Sisters: Bessie Reynolds and Kathy Parkhill. He is predeceased by: Father Roscoe Gillard and Mother Carrie Gillard, Brothers: Bud Gillard and James (Chick) Gillard. Sisters: Erma Dollar and Artie Moran.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a Graveside Burial on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Winter Garden Cemetery, 13636 Lake Butler Blvd., Winter Garden, FL 34787. Reverend Scott A.
