Tony Reyes, aka El Burro, or as he liked to call himself ‘Rocky’ was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 6, 1973, passed peacefully on February 23, 2020, at 3:52 PM at Advent Health Apopka in Apopka, Florida surrounded by his beloved family.
Tonito was the life of the party, and still danced and lived like he was still 18 yrs old. He loved Reggaeton and listened to a variety of artists like Daddy Yankee, Bad Bunny, El Alfa, Myke Towers, Zion & Lennox, and many more that he would blast on his very old but surprisingly loud speakers at his home. Some of his favorite bangers were Suave by El Alfa, Adictiva by Daddy Yankee ft. Anuel AA, La Playa by Myke towers, and the notorious song that he loved to play in the car, every holiday party, literally everywhere, Krippy Kush (Remix) by Farruko, Bad Bunny, and Rvussian featuring many of his other liked artists.
He would crack jokes on everything and everyone, especially if he liked you. He loved to joke around with the person who he loved to argue with the most, the sunshine to his dark night, his wonderful Wife, Denisse M. Alicea Montanez. He had two great children with her, Destiny Reyes, or ‘Nano Poop’ as he would call her, his daughter of 18 yrs, and Damian Reyes Alicea, or ‘Tati’, his son of 20 yrs, who he lived with, worked his butt off for, and loved since the day they were born.
Tonito loved and was always proud to represent Puerto Rico whenever he could. He had so many great memories there like, going to college, getting his first car, and meeting the love of his life and later on wife, Denisse. He loved his parents, Antonio Reyes and Maria Reyes Ortiz very dearly, and his two older siblings, his big sis, Maritza, and big bro, Andy, even though he had a different way of showing it.
He was a Carpet Installer who worked with his brother in-law David Balmaceda, and a few others like Cesar aka Pelon, Pedrito, and his Brother, Juan (Andy) Andres. He was the hardest working man and tried his hardest to keep food on the table for his kids and to keep a roof above their heads no matter how horrible he felt. He had a sweet tooth for candy and pies, he was just a sugar fanatic. He would eat almost any type of sweets he could get his hands on. Gummies, cake, chocolate, especially hard candy like jolly ranchers, or his most recent favorite, Werther’s Original Creamy Caramel Filled Caramel hard candies and he loved his chocolate chip cookies.
Tonito loved God and Jesus very much, and now he may look over us with them as he lives on in tranquility with Jesus Christ himself. Now he may rest peacefully in good hands, in gods hands.
Rest easy Papi, we all love you. You have to wait until we reunite again for me to finish your lineup and add designs to your haircut again cause we all knew how much you would brag about how beautiful, long, and silky your hair was.
