Norma was born Norma Frances Taylor on December 12, 1934 in Knoxville Tennessee, to the late Covey & Rose (Cardwell) Taylor. She passed away on Friday July 24, 2020 in Winter Garden, FL.

She married John Albert Blankenship on March 6th 1953. She is survived by her two children,
John (Kim) Blankenship, Bruce Blankenship. Norma had two grandchildren grandson,
Michael (Crystal) Blankenship, great grand-daughter, Lily. Granddaughter,
Lindsey (Zac) Osborne (Blankenship) 2, great grandson’s Anthony and Liam.
By her son Bruce and his wife Sherry, she had one grandchild, Heather.

Norma’s Love for Jesus was evident to all who knew her. She was a proud wife, mother and
was a friend to many. Her sweet demeanor and happy personality made her easy to Love.

After raising her children she worked at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. She was
very proud of her work as the Secretary III in the Forensics Unit for 10 years. She and her
husband enjoyed their membership at the West Orange Church of Christ, where they had
many friends. After retiring she also enjoyed gardening and feeding the animals at her Winter
Garden home. When getting together for a great home cooked meal with her family we
enjoyed our time in the yard as well as the lake.

Norma's arrangements are in the caring guidance of Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremations,

In A Dream

In a dream I saw Jesus
Jesus said to me
Open your heart
Let hatred depart
And LOVE will flow freely

In a dream I saw Jesus
Jesus said to me
There’s a place for you in Heaven
Keep spreading the word around
There’s a place for you in Heaven
Where heavenly gifts abound.
