Obituary for Wanda Lee Stewart (Farris)

Wanda Lee (Farris) Stewart, 83, of Winter Garden, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2020, at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Wanda was born on July 26, 1937 in Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Arles Farris and Golda (Purdom) Farris. Wanda was the loving wife of the late Joe Al Stewart.
Wanda was a graduate of Big Flat High School and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She and her husband, Joe, owned Memory Lane Antiques in Timbo and loved working together finding and restoring furniture and other antiques.

She is survived by two daughters: Jan Partain of Jamestown, NC., and Cheryl (Partain) Good of Winter Garden, FL. Three siblings, Abilene Munson, Buster Farris and Danny Farris, son-in-law, Scott Good, seven grandchildren: David (Jenna) Good, and John, Clint, Brandon, Cheyenne and Dylan Good, 2 great-grandchildren, Carly and Joseph and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by one brother, Dale Arles “D.A.” Farris.

Because of her great love for animals, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stone County Humane Society No Kill Shelter for a permanent kennel in Wanda’s name. A celebration of her life is planned for this spring in Timbo, AR.
