Obituary for Brenda Dale DeVries (Shrader )
Brenda Dale (Shrader) DeVries, 72, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Brenda was born on October 29, 1948 in Rosalie, Alabama, the daughter of the late Robert Lee Shrader and Nellie Forstein (Heard) Shrader. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Richard Joseph DeVries.
Brenda was in the field of medical billing for many years of her life in Georgia, Tennessee and Florida. She was a very hardworking woman and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by: two children, Stacy Spruce and husband Tom, of Orlando, FL and Scott Sayer of Orlando, FL. One granddaughter, Anastasia Spruce of Orlando, FL. One sister, Shirley Jones of Ringgold, Georgia. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, James L. Shrader and Arvil O. Shrader and three sisters, Dorothy M. Eslinger, Hazel (Rita) M. Shrader and Linda S. Dees and one half-sister, Ruby Davis and two half-brothers, Gene Shrader and Jay Shrader.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial service from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Winter Oak Funeral Home & Cremations.
