Veronica “Velvet” Knox, 46, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Cornerstone Hospice Facility in Orlando, Florida. She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 5, 1975 in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of Dorothy Sparkman and Edward Sparkman.

Veronica was a loan officer for many years, in Orlando, FL. She was known as a very hardworking woman throughout her life. She also strived to be the best mother she could be.

Veronica is survived by her three children, Khalik Knox, of Orlando, FL, Kaylah Outler, of Tifton, GA, and Jaheim Martin, of Lakeland, FL. Two sisters, Jessica Sparkman, of Brooklyn, NY., and Felicia Sparkman, of Brooklyn, NY. Two brothers, Khadeem Sparkman, of Brooklyn, Ny., and Kevin Sparkman, of Brooklyn, NY. She also leaves behind a granddaughter, Rylie Outler. She is also leaving many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremation.
