Obituary for Jerry Martin Calhoun
Jerry Martin Calhoun, 74, Ocoee, FL passed away on Tuesday, June 8th , 2021, at Cornerstone Hospice surrounded by loved ones.
Jerry was born on April 6 th , 1947 to the late Lynn Wade and Evie Lou Howell. He was the companion to Linda Thompson, the grandfather of late Bobby Merritt and the brother of late Jimmy Calhoun and Linda
Freeman. They preceded him in death, as well as many other loved ones. Jerry,otherwise known as Papal or Peanut, was a residential painter for many years. He was a kind, brave, hard-working, loving father,
grandfather, and veteran. He was a friend to everyone, the life of the party and an all-around joy to be with. Anyone who knew Jerry loved him.
Jerry is survived by his two daughters and son, Kelly (Calhoun) Buffington, and son in law Willis Buffington,
and Jerri Lynn and James Fuller. Six grandchildren, Mark Wayne Roberson, Daniel Powell, Olivia Chancellor, Tyler Helgeson, Megan Fuller and Jessica Yoder. Six great grandchildren, Brantley Kayden, Hailey
Roberson, Ezra Powell, Kyndal Yoder, Dawson Powell, and Cayden Chancellor and many nieces and nephews.
He had a great life and has found peace and healing with the Lord.
