Obituary for Saundra L Taormina
Saundra L. Taormina, 74, of Winter Garden, FL., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Cornerstone Hospice, in Ocoee, FL., with her loving family by her side.
Saundra was born on March 12, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of Emma (Mascara) Taormina of Winter Garden, FL.
Saundra worked for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for many years. Ending her career in the Compliance Department.
Besides her mother, she is survived by a brother; Frank M Taormina (Constance A.) of Winter Garden, FL., a Niece Claire (Jerod) Jesso of Winter Garden, FL., with whom she was especially close. Two, Grand Nieces: Dara and Emma and two, Grand Nephews: Tyson and Ryder.
The family will welcome family and friends from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. at Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant Street on Friday, July 2, 2021. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Resurrection Catholic Church, 1211 Vineland Road, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Friends and family will also be received on Thursday, July 8th from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the Jobe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (Monroeville/Plum Chapel) 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). Entombment will be private at St. Joseph’s Cemetery & Mausoleum, North Versailles.
