Obituary for Martha B. Wilson

Martha B. Wilson, 75, began her eternal life with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 8:30pm. She peacefully left to be with our Lord and Savior from her son’s (Bruce Wilson) home in Ocoee Florida.

She was born on March 22, 1946 in Hawkinsville Georgia to Dewy and Minnie Nation. Martha lived in Warner Robins Ga for 45 year. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Wilson, her husband of 19 years, in 1985 and her daughter, Leslie Michelle Wilson, in 1970. As well as her brothers Sam, Billy, Earl and Bobby and her sister Paulette.

Martha leaves behind her son, Bruce A Wilson, her daughter in law, Mara E Wilson, and her grandchildren that meant the world to her, Jonah M Wilson and Josephine M Wilson. She is also survived by her sisters, Joyce, Emma and Sue and her brothers, Don, Grover and John.

Martha spent the majority of life after graduating from high school caring for others. She was a nurse’s assistant at Houston County Medical Center as well as many assisted living facilities throughout her care giving career of over 50 years. She always gave of herself including the elderly in need or the homeless on the street. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched in her quiet, humble way. Martha’s joys in life were plants and gardening but most of all spending time with her son, Bruce and her grandchildren, Jonah and Josie.

A celebration of life for Martha is being planned to take place in her hometown of Warner Robins, Ga. The date has not yet been determined. We will notify family and friends when that is done.
