Mauritz Jacobs, 90, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021 at Five Oaks Rest Home and assisted living facility under hospice care in Welaka , Florida.

Mauritz was born in Wheeling West Virginia February 15, 1931. Mauritz was the loving husband of Jane Jacobs who preceded him, they were married 67 years. Mauritz grew up in Wheeling West Virginia and attended West liberty State College and was drafted into the army during the Korean War. He retired after 31 years with the steel company in Wheeling then moving to Winter Garden and residing in Palm Coast.

Mauritz enjoyed his life spending time with his family, and playing golf with his friends he also enjoyed working on the small family farm. He was a great father with an infectious sense of humor always willing to help people. Mauritz will be greatly missed and loved by his family. Mauritz and Jane leave behind two children and three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 11:00 am with service to follow at
12:00 pm at Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremations, Interment to follow at the Winter Garden Cemetery.
