David was born in Newark, N.J. He received a BA from Seaton Hall Univ., an LLM from Washington and Lee Univ., a Master of Law from Georgetown Univ., and a degree in Oceanographic Studies from UVA. He worked as a attorney for the U.S. Dept. of Transportation in Washington, D.C.for 30 years. After retiring he worked as a photographer, photographing football, race cars, and animals in a natural setting. He was an avid New York Giants fan, and photographed on the sidelines for a number of years. David is survived by his wife Sandra N. Oliver, his son David C. Oliver II with spouse Jeang, his sister Gail Antonucci, niece Melissa Miele with spouse Chris, and two grandniece's.
