Obituary for Caren "Grandma Caren" Jackson
Caren Jackson, 78, passed away peacefully at home Monday, October 25, 2021 surrounded by her daughters and holding the hand of her husband Jack.
Caren was born September 15,1943 in Detroit, MI, The oldest daughter of Arthur and Zoeann Field. A graduate of Madison High School, Caren enjoyed childhood summers skiing on Black Lake with her sister and brother.
After retiring from the University of Maryland, Caren made the most of her time quilting, painting, traveling, watching the sunset, and sharing her life and love with her husband.
Caren is survived by her husband, mother, brother, five children, four nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many friends.
Caren's family will share fond memories at a gathering in her daughter’s home October 31, 2021. Instead of sending flowers please plant a lilac or rose in Caren’s honor.
