Obituary for Guy Arbouet
Our dear and wonderful Father, Guy Arbouet, 86 years old, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on Friday November 19, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Guy was born on January 24, 1935 in the city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is the son of the late Athanase and Ines Arbouet (Bartheley). Guy was the loving husband of 60 years to Marguerite Arbouet (Durand).
Guy was an Agronomist by trade, an entrepreneur, and enjoyed working as a travel consultant during his early retirement years. He was a smart, hardworking person that dedicated his efforts for the better good of his family. With his Faith in God and his words of wisdom, He was an amazing Father figure to so many. He was a loving husband, Father, Father-in-law, Grandfather, and a great friend to many.
He enjoyed reading, writing poetry, watching a good movie and going to the local restaurants and cafes. He was a proud and dedicated member of the Lions Club. His laughter and his radiant smile will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by 3 children, Ronald Arbouet, Joel Arbouet, and Joanne Banton (Arbouet); a daughter-in-law (Josiane Arbouet) and son-in-law (Saffron Banton); 4 grandsons, Zackery Banton, William Banton, Raymond Banton and Gabriel Banton; two brothers (Fred Arbouet & Jean-Claude Arbouet) and a sister (Immacula Nelson).
Guy’s funeral arrangements are in the caring guidance of Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremations,
1132 E..Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Visitation is from 9:00a.m. - 10:00a.m. with service starting at 10:00a,m.
After the burial ceremony, the family welcomes relatives and friends from 1pm-3pm on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at their private residence (limited space).
