Obituary for Marion "Joette" Piquette
Marion Joette Piquette (nee Johnson), 78 years, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Health Central
Park in Winter Garden, Florida.
Joette was born December 10, 1943, in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late
Doyle W. and Iris Lynn Johnson. She was a 1961 graduate of Albany High School in Albany, Georgia.
Joette was a remarkable homemaker. Nothing else filled her heart more than to take care of her husband, daughter, and grandchildren. She was a sweet and beautiful southern lady that wore bright vibrant colors that truly matched her personality and soul. Joette loved reading, sewing, gardening her hibiscus, and cooking southern traditional meals for her family. She will be deeply missed by all.
Besides her devoted husband of 58 years, David; she is survived by her daughter Marisa Kinard and son-in-law Charles, and 2 grandchildren, Caitlin Kinard and Gabriel Kinard all of Clermont, Florida.
Per Joette’s wishes, she is to be cremated by Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremation,
1132 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
