Obituary for Edward D. Laman

Edward Laman, 69 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 with his loving children and granddaughter by his side.

Ed was born on December 7, 1952 at the Amarillo Airforce Base in Texas. He was the son of the late George Laman and Donna Roberts. His loving wife, Nancy Laman, two sons, Brian and Christopher Laman, and brother, Tom Pearson predeceased him.

Ed owned an air condition business in his youth and later worked as a construction supervisor until his retirement. His work ethic was unsurpassed as was his dedication to his family. All who knew him knew his family, as he would brag to anyone that would lend an ear. He had a balance of strength and sensitivity that made him both dependable and loved by those around him. He will be truly missed by all.

He was survived by three children, Janna Laman of Orlando, FL., Justin Laman of Orlando, FL., and Katelyn Laman of Orlando, FL., two grandchildren, Alyssa Potter and Jacob Wilson, two sisters, Gayla Laman and Victoria Henrich, one brother, George Douglass Laman, and many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a celebration of life from 1:00 to 3:00 on Saturday June 11th, 2022 at Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, Fl 34787 with a burial immediately following at Winter Garden Cemetery, 13636 Lake Butler Blvd, Winter Garden, FL., 34787.
