Obituary for Harold T. Walters

Harold Thomas Walters, 75, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Advent Health in Orlando.

Harold was born on January 17, 1947 in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Thomas E. Walters and late Ruth A. Lambeth. Harold was the loving husband and soul mate to Lanette Walters.

Besides his loving and devoted wife, Lanette; he is survived by his children, Laura (Warsaw, IN), Melissa
(St. Cloud, FL), Justin (Ft. Pierce, FL), and Kevin (Tyler, TX) along with his step-grandchildren and his sister Mary (Orlando, FL) and her children. He was preceded in death by his brother David Walters.

Harold was a Jet Engine Technician in the US Air force and retired after 20 faithful years serving our country. After retirement, he worked for Brink’s Security for some time and then nestled into retirement life where he met, fell in love, and married Lanette. Harold was a good man and a good friend to many. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family. If you knew him, you loved him. He was kind, loving, adventurous, and had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

To experience great loss, you must experience great love. His family and friends will grieve hard because he was loved hard.

Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremation in Winter Garden has taken care of all immediate arrangements and helped direct us to the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery for final interment. At a future date, not yet determined, he will be placed into the vault with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association in his honor at: Alzheimer's Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer's Disease or your local VFW directly.
