Obituary for Betty J. Carson
Betty J. Carson, 84, of Orlando, Florida passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Health Central Hospital, in Ocoee, Florida, with her 3 grandsons Alex, Jay, and Joseph by her side.
Betty was born on November 23, 1937, In Dover, New Jersey, to the late Charles & Florence (Bates) Lozier.
Betty worked in the public school system for years with many of those years as a cafeteria worker in New Jersey then when her and her late husband Donald moved to Florida. Betty soon started working as a school crossing guard in Orlando. Betty loved being around children, her life in public schools showed that. Betty had a stubborn streak that stayed with her to the bitter end.
Betty is survived by her 3 grandsons, Alex, Jay, and Joseph Urena, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. One niece Robin Lorenzo.
Betty is preceded by, husband Donald Carson, daughter, Cheryl Urena-Clark, 2 sisters Doris Goodman and Suzy Lozier.
