Obituary for Shawn "Andy" Glover

Shawn Andrew (Andy) Glover went home to be with his Lord at age 48 at his home in Apopka, Florida, on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Andy lost his brave battle with cancer, but not without leaving his mark on this world. He was born in Orlando,
Florida, on October 16, 1973. He grew up in Ocoee, Florida, and attended Spring Lake Elementary,
Ocoee Middle School, and West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida.

He was incredibly passionate about his work as a construction builder and custom trim carpenter in
Central Florida. He excelled in the exacting nature this work required. He made friends and earned the
respect of so many of his peers. He was nicknamed "Squirrel" in how he worked running around rafters
like a squirrel.

Andy was a loving son, father, and friend when he wasn't at the job site. He was an avid fan of the Florida
Gators. His hobbies were surfing, camping, biking, cooking, gardening, and playing Pokemon.
Andy was a giving, caring, and selfless soul, an all-around good guy. He was one of a kind. Andy touched
everybody's lives and made it a point to make all those he encountered feel important and special. He
showed up when it mattered, had your back, and gave to those in need. Andy will never be forgotten but
