Obituary for John F. O'Neill
John O'Neill, 74, of Winter Garden, FL passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022, at Health Central Park nursing home in Winter Garden with his loving family by his side.
John (Jack) was born on October 18, 1947, in Rochester, NY. He is the son of the late John Edward O'Neill and Catherine Carmady. Jack was the loving husband of 21 years to Barbara (Krafchick) O'Neill.
Jack was a chemist and worked in the pharmaceutical business for many years. He was a kind, generous man and had a great sense of humor. He lived in Wisconsin for 16 years before retiring to Florida. He loved baseball (go Brewers!), photography, traveling and a good Irish whiskey. Everyone who knew Jack would tell you he was a great person, and someone you could always count on. He will be truly missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, and two stepdaughters, Holly Leonard of Denver, CO and Paula Leonard of Orlando, FL.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing from 10:00am-11:15am with a Catholic prayer service beginning at 11;15am on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. The burial will immediately follow at Orlando Memorial Gardens, 5264 Ingram Road, Apopka, FL 32703.
