Obituary for Monique Alicia Vassell
Monique A. Vassell of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.
Monique was born to Blossom and Fred Vassell on January 16th , 1978 in the small town of St. Andrew, Jamaica. Monique was a broker/ realtor, distinguished notary, and public and loan signing agent by profession for many years in Orlando, Florida. She was a very hardworking woman who enjoyed her kids, family, arts and crafts, and anything to do with nature. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. Everyone who knew Monique would tell you she was a very kind and helpful person, a friend you could always count on. She will be truly missed by all.
Besides being a loving mother, Monique is survived by both her parents, Blossom and Fred, and her 4 children Justin, Terrell, Negus Jr., and Candace of Orlando, Florida. Monique also leaves behind her brother Andrew, and sister in law Tonalee of Palm Bay, Fl. Also, her nephews Daniel and Andrew Jr. Her dear aunt Rose Marie, Emma, Marcia, and Jeanette, and Elaine. Uncles Erik, Noel, and Michael. Many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Friday, September 9th, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, Florida, 34787 .The service will also be held at Winter Oak Funeral Home on Saturday, September 10th, at 11 A.M. with burial immediately at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery at 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida, 34744.
