Obituary for Robert "Bob" Snell

Robert Irving Snell, 67, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 3, 2022 in Astatula, Florida at his daughter Kimberly’s home.

Bob was born July 16, 1955, in Somerville, Massachusetts. He is the son of the late Donald Irving Snell and the late Betty Alda Nickerson.

Bob was a hardworking man he served our country in the US Marine Corp. He was a very loving person, father and friend. He loved the beach, sailboats, motorcycles and anything to do around the water with his family and friends. He always had a quick wit and great sense of humor, a man who would do anything for anyone and always but himself last. He was a strong man never asking for help.

Bob’s loving gentle soul is at rest now after suffering multiple strokes. While in the loving care of his family and cared for by his daughter Kimberly, his last months were spent in her home under the care of Cornerstone Hospice.

He will forever be in our hearts and loved by many. We are eternally grateful for the time we were able to spend with him during this time.

Bob is survived by his loving ex-wife and friend Dorothy (Dottie) Sweiringa of Orlando, his three children (son) Robert Irving Snell the second, (daughter)Tammy Lorraine Slodysko and (daughter) Kimberly Evelyn Sarber.
