Obituary for Theresa Mae Davison (Bowen)
Theresa Mae Davison, 97, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away surrounded by her loving family on October 6, 2022.
Theresa was born in Illinois, and grew up in Kirkwood, Missouri, where she became a lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan. After marrying Ed, her high school sweetheart, they raised their two daughters in Springfield, Illinois. Attending Cardinal spring training games in Florida became their passion after retirement.
Theresa attended Vogue School of Design following high school graduation. Her family was the beneficiary of her many design skills. She also enjoyed volunteering for Girl Scouts, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and Lincoln Memorial Garden in Springfield.
Theresa and Ed were married 73 years before his death in 2019. She is survived by daughters Kathy, Linda and husband (Jerry); grandson Kris and wife (Katie); granddaughter Laura and husband (Noury); and six great grandchildren Connor, Zara, Bryan, Molly, Nora, and Lacey.
Theresa will be missed by her family and her many friends at The Summit of Winter Garden.
A Celebration of Theresa’s Life will be held at The Summit of Winter Garden Theatre on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:45am.
