Obituary for Joe Marine

Joe Marine, 65 of Davenport, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Advent Health in Celebration, Florida with his loving family by his side. He suffered a massive stroke.

Joe was born on July 9, 1957 in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at St. Agnes Hospital. He was the loving son of Maryann (D’Angelo) Marine and the late Sal Marine.

Joe played guitar and was in a band when he met his beautiful late wife Camille DuBois of Harrisburg, PA. He owned a video store in Collegeville, PA for several years. After selling Videoville, he worked as a limousine driver at King Limousine in King of Prussia, PA. He was then hired as a private driver by one of the owners of the Philadelphia Phillies, Mrs. Claire Betz, before moving to Florida. He loved movies and music, especially anything by The Beatles. He was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He loved going to Wildwood, New Jersey and Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida with his daughter. He enjoyed being a grandfather and spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his mother, Maryann; he is survived by his daughter Taryn Payne and husband (Dan), of Minneola, Florida and two grandchildren, Camille and Sean.

The Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 9:00AM at Holy Savior Church, 407 E. Main Street, Norristown, PA 19401 with a interment immediately following at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 2300 Dekalb Pike, Norristown, PA 19401.
