Obituary for Barbara Elizabeth Waters
Barbara Elizabeth Waters, age 44, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, December 23rd at Orlando Health Central. Barbara was born October 26th, 1978 to Rita Flicker and the late Frank Joseph Waters in Dover, Delaware.
Many knew Barbara as the director for Glad Tidings Preschool. Through hard work and perseverance she dedicated 13 years of her life at this facility, bringing joy and comfort to all the children she encountered. She aimed to provide a positive atmosphere for kids to be creative and passionate about learning. Education held a special place in her heart. She believed that with the right guidance and motivation, anyone could reach the highest of mountains if they were willing to be diligent.
Although, hardships were a common occurrence, she never faltered her steps. With the faith of God, she walked through life always with her head held high and her heart wide open. She was compassionate, caring, and comical. Barbara was the embodiment of selfless. Putting others needs before her own, she made sure that the people she encountered were tended to. Adored by many but loved by all, she was always the brightest light even on the darkest of days.
Barbara is survived by her two children, Nathaniel Whobrey, Brianna Ambrocio (James), and mother Rita Flicker.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing from 10:00am - 11:00am, on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023 at Glad Tidings Church 2009 E. Fullers Cross Rd. Ocoee, FL 34761 with a service Immediately Following at Glad Tidings Church at 11:00am with Pastor Gary Howell officiating.
