Obituary for Providenzia "Pritzie" Colantuoni

Providenzia “Pritzie” Colantuoni, age 90 of Orlando, Florida passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 with her loving daughter and granddaughter by her side.

Pritzie was born on September 21, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Salvatore and Stella Maiorana and preceded in death by 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Pritzie was the loving, loyal wife to Ray Colantuoni Sr. and spent 37 wonderful years together before Ray Sr.’s passing.

Pritzie wore many hats throughout her lifetime. She was an award winning typist in High School, an Executive Secretary for Benada Aluminum, a Vice President of RC Custom Painting co- owned by husband and son, and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church woman's Guild. She was a top notch homemaker. She was an inventive, thoughtful, hardworking, and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother great grandmother and friend.

Pritzie enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, gardening, crossword puzzles, and a hot cup of coffee. Anyone who knew Pritzie, acquaintance or family, could easily tell that her intentions were pure. Each move she made was with consideration for others, consistently putting them before herself. Seeing her water her relationships, and watching them flourish and last throughout her lifetime was a blessing to be a part of.

Pritzie is survived by a daughter, Mary Dorian, a son Raymond Colantuoni Jr., and daughter in- law Elaine Colantuoni. One sister, Carmela Kramer, and a sister-in-law Lori Maiorana, three grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Along with many loving nieces, nephews, and endearing friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday May 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm for a Catholic Mass followed by a Celebration of Life at Holy Family Catholic Church 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Road Orlando, FL 32819.
