Obituary for Joseph A. "Joey" Zito
Joseph Andrew Zito, 43, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in Orlando, Florida.
Joey was born on December 5, 1979 in Queens, NY. He is the son of Charles Zito and Ann (Harrison) Ducsay and the beloved brother of Anthia Zito and Justin Zito.
Besides his parents, Joey was survived by his long term partner of 18 years Brandi Walker, his sister Anthia, brother Justin and sister-in-law Lauren, grandmother Rose and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joey became a chef in 1997 and worked in kitchens and catered events all around Orlando ever since. He was the kindest person with the most loving heart. He loved baseball since he was a kid, started playing drums as a teenager and was ready to join you on the dancefloor at the next live punk show. He was the most authentic person, always protective of his family and quick to make his loved ones laugh. He will be truly missed by all.
We are gathering together on Wednesday, April 12 to celebrate the life of Joey Zito. Friends and family are invited to join us. Mass service will be held at 4pm at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on 4545 Anderson Road, Orlando, FL 32812. Celebration of Life begins at 5:30pm at the Parish Center next to the church
