In Loving Memory of Zygmunt Szaro “Ziggy”
Zygmunt “Ziggy” Szaro, 67, passed away on Saturday, October 28, at South Lake Hospital in Clermont, Florida, from an aggressive form of cancer.
Ziggy, as he was known by his friends was born and raised in Żyznów, Poland by his parents, Piotr and Stanislawa Szaro. At the age of 21, he ventured to the United States, where he made a significant impact on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ziggy was an accomplished craftsman/handyman. He loved tackling all types of projects and was always quick to help others with their various projects.
Ziggy made Montverde, Florida, his home for over 30 years. He was a Christian who attended Spirit Live Church in Ferndale – Clermont, Florida.
Ziggy leaves behind three sons, Pete, Jason, and Michael Szaro of New Jersey and two sisters, Marzena, Krystyna, and a brother Mieczyslaw Szaro. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to those he cared for.
In celebration of Ziggy’s remarkable life, his funeral service will be held at the Town of Montverde Cemetery located at 17436 Division Street, Montverde, Florida 34756. Following the service, a Celebration of life luncheon will be hosted at the community building, providing and opportunity for friends and family to come together share memories and solace during this challenging time.
Ziggy will be dearly missed, but his spirit and the love he shared with those around him will forever remain in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a cancer research organization in his memory.
