Obituary for Deborah K. Hull

Deborah K. Hull passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 while bravely battling cancer, with her loving family by her side.

Deborah (Debby) was born June 12, 1952 in Hemet, CA. She is the daughter of the late Elwyn and Paula (Root) Haskell. Debby was the loving wife of Kimball W. Hull for 42 years.

Debby worked in a variety of exciting careers, in including managing a fabric shop (she loved to sew!), as a gate agent for Reno Air, as a book distributor in schools in Northern Nevada for Books Are Fun. But the highlight of her career was the 16 years she spent working at Walt Disney World in very special roles including “Dream Squad” hostess, “Traditions” facilitator, V.I.P. Tour Guide and Coordinator, and Operations Training. She was adoringly known to many Disney Cast Members as “mama Debby” - a testament to how much she was adored by her peers. She retired from Walt Disney World on February 3, 2023.

In addition to her husband Kimball, she is survived by her two children, Kambria Hull and her boyfriend Kenneth Davis of Orlando, and Zachary Hull and his girlfriend Nora Stewart of Orlando. She will be greatly missed by family members in California, Arizona, Wyoming, Texas, and Connecticut.

Debby was a strong fighter, but her family is at peace knowing that she is now free from pain and discomfort, and that she in heaven with Jesus. In heaven, Debby is joined by her parents, her son Jay, dear friends Pammy, Cynthia, and Jeannie. She was so looking forward to seeing her 4-legged “girlies” again - Prinny, Sparky, Zippy, and Abby.

The family welcome everyone that loved Debby to celebrate her extraordinary life with them on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremations. Please wear bright, happy colors to reflect Debby’s bright, happy personality. Always the life of the party, she would rather we celebrate than be sad!

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Pet Alliance of Orlando at
Debby was a great animal lover, and would be happy to have her legacy of love and caring to be funneled into helping animals in need.

The family wishes to thank the incredible staff of Doctors, Nurses, and Technicians at AdventHealth Orlando Women’s Tower (12th floor), as well as the Hospice staff. Debby and her family felt love and care above and beyond what was expected during her 8-week stay. We will be forever grateful for them loving her like family.
