William “Bill” Deitz, age 55, passed away peacefully following a sudden illness with pneumonia and sepsis, surrounded by the love of his family.

Bill was a devoted husband to Tiffany Deitz. He was a proud and loving father to his three sons, Nicholas Deitz, Zachary Deitz, and Alexander Deitz, and a welcoming father-in-law to Amanda and Alison. Bill was also a cherished grandfather to Carla Belle (5) and Oliver (3 months). His family was his greatest joy, and he was profoundly grateful for the health, happiness, and love they all shared.

He is survived by his father, Charles Deitz (Cathy); his sister, Sandra Zaccari (John); and his brothers, Richard Deitz, Bruce Edwards (Tara), Christopher Logan (Andrea), and Charles Logan. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Patricia Darlene Lesley.

An avid cruiser, Bill was most at peace when he was out on the water. Cruising was his absolute favorite vacation and his true happy place.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, the family will forgo a traditional service. Instead, they will gather privately as a family to celebrate his life and carry his memory out to sea.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to express their sympathy consider contributing to Bill's memorial fund on Ever Loved. Donations will assist with final expenses and support his three sons, with a portion being donated in Bill’s memory to his favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
