Anne Kuhn McFarland, who resided in Sanford, Florida passed peacefully at the age of 71 on Tuesday July 28th, 2026 at AdventHealth ER Sanford.

Anne was born on August 3rd, 1954 in Bronx, New York. She is the daughter of Edward Maxwell Kuhn and Irene Joan (Masterson) Kuhn. Anne was the loving wife of Rickey McFarland for 51 years.

Anne was a nurse in various medical fields for many years in the Orlando area. She was a caring and compassionate woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She never met a dog she didn't like and was an avid fan of Florida State University where she graduated with a bachelor's in nursing. She kept track of everyone and if you needed an address or name she was the one to call. She was the cornerstone of our family and will be missed immensely.

Besides her husband, Rickey; she is survived by her father Edward Maxwell Kuhn of Maitland, Florida, sister Barbara Epple of Maitland, Florida, and her brother Edward Kuhn and his wife Susan Kuhn of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Her four children: Erin Dykes of New Market, Tennessee, Matthew McFarland and wife Heather McFarland of Orlando, Florida, Douglas McFarland of Sanford, Florida, and Kathleen McFarland of Sanford, Florida. She is also survived by her three grandchildren Faith, Nolan, and Shane along with her nephews and nieces.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life at the Oak Harbor Clubhouse, which is located at 433 Oak Haven Drive Altamonte Springs FL 32701 on Saturday August 1st from 1:30-5:00pm.
