Dennis Gates Sr, 78 of Winter Garden, FL passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, FL.
Dennis was born in Detroit, MI on December 16, 1947, the son of Neva and Eugene Gates. He was a dedicated husband to Phyllis and father to son Dennis Jr. and a very hard working man who never hesitated to help others when he could.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis and son Dennis Jr, Sisters - Ruth Howe and Gladys Gates, Brothers - Robert, Ed, Joseph and Darrel Gates and Step children - Jennie Mojado and Larry Rowe as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
