Patricia Ann Hawley of Winter Garden FL passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Pat was born in the Bronx, NY on February 15, 1939. She attended PS 103, graduated Evander Childs HS, obtained her Registered Nurse degree from Grasslands NY and later earned her BS from Florida Southern College.

While attending nursing school, she met and later eloped with James Hawley in 1961. Settling in Cranbury NJ, Pat loved her job at Princeton Hospital as a labor and delivery nurse.

The birth of her daughter, Joan Anna Marie was followed by two sons, Scott James and Michael Donald. She was always happiest when the whole family was together, saying “All my chicks are in the nest.”

Pat had a warm, gregarious personality, maintaining many friends from her youth. In 1980, the family moved to Central Florida where, alongside her husband, she owned and managed Killarney Mobile Home and RV Court. She continued raising her family while developing new and lasting friendships, many through tennis and book clubs.

Her unbelievably generous nature and capacity for caring were apparent to everyone she encountered. Her son Scott recalls recovering from strep throat and Mom not leaving his side all week. Her daughter Joan remembers running home from school every day to tell Mom all about it. Michael, her youngest, is forever grateful for all the wonderful experiences she exposed him to and her amazing patience and unending support. She was a loving and devoted wife who cherished her family.

Pat is survived by her husband James; children Joan Starkovich (John), Scott Hawley (Sandra), Michael Hawley (Terri); grandchildren Bella Hawley, Max Hawley; and her sister Angela Sklenarik (Robert): as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pat's funeral arrangements are in the caring guidance of Winter Oak Funeral Home and Cremation, 1132 E Plant Street, Winter Garden FL 34787.

Matthew Perry

Matthew Douglas Perry Sr. passed away suddenly on September 26, 2026, at the age of 59. Born in Delaware on April 8, 1967, Matthew was the son of Sarah Perry and the late Douglas Perry.

Matthew was a devoted son, loving father, cherished grandfather, kind friend, and a man who loved his family with his whole heart. He spent his life surrounded by the people he loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Matthew’s life was defined by the deep, unconditional love he had for his parents, siblings, children, grandchildren and family. He spent his days protecting, guiding, supporting, and loving those around him, leaving behind a beautiful example of what it means to lead with kindness, loyalty, and integrity.

He also left behind a proud football legacy. Matthew played high school football, and his team took William Penn High School to the championship back-to-back. Football was more than a game to him—it was a part of who he was. He proudly passed that love and legacy down to his grandsons, Carter Perry and Cameron Casapulla.

Matthew now joins in eternal rest his father, Douglas Perry; his beloved younger sister, Rosalie Perry-Myers; and his oldest daughter, Candes Wesson Rodriguez. May they all rest peacefully together in the eternal heavens.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Sarah Perry, who was his absolute hero; and his oldest brother, Drake Durrell, he loved his brother with everything in him.

He is also survived by his children, his “sunshine,” Tiffany Casapulla; his grandchildren, Carter Perry, Cameron Casapulla, and his little sunshine, Callie Casapulla; his niece, Paris Lawson; and his nephew, Josiah Myers. He also leaves behind a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

To his children, he was simply Dad—a source of comfort, laughter, guidance, protection, and a feeling of home.

To his grandchildren, he was Pop Pop—and he was everything.

Matthew cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family. He especially loved being with his grandchildren, watching football, spending time with his brother Drake and his mother Sarah, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles. He lived and breathed green and white. The Eagles were his pride and joy, but above all else, family was his greatest love.

Matthew lived a full life and leaves behind memories that will last a lifetime. Though his absence has left a tremendous emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his laughter, his love, his lessons, and the memories he created will remain with us forever.

Smile for him, because he is still with each and every one of us—in our hearts, in our memories, and in the love he left behind.

Rest in Paradise, Eternally.
Until we meet again.

Family and friends are invited to gather in Matthew’s memory for a small celebration of life. Details and dates will be released at a later time.

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." Revelations 21:4
