Lorne Adam Trimble, age 59, died Sunday, December 18th, 2016, after a long struggle with cancer. He was born May 28, 1957 in Orlando, FL to Henry and Liselotte Trimble. He was a 1975 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. Lorne went on to graduate from UCF with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He worked most recently for Leidos, Inc. as a software engineer in the IT department. Lorne had a deep love and concern for animals and was heavily involved in cat rescue. He was an avid tennis player, water skier (even barefoot skiing), runner, martial arts aficionado and sci-fi fan, who loved the Star Trek sagas. Lorne had an interesting and quirky sense of humor and was very empathetic to those close to him. He was always there to support his friends in times of need.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Julie Paulson; mother, Liselotte (Wagner) Trimble; brother, Albert (Kathy) Trimble, sister, LeeAnne Trimble and nephew, William. He is preceded by his father, Henry Trimble. His dear friend of 32 years, Betty Cleveland and former co-worker, Joey Barrows, were an integral part of his life. Julie and Lorne reconnected after a 16 year separation when they met again at Julie’s workplace. Lorne told his friends that this last year, though the hardest of his life due his battle with cancer, was also the most cherished time of his life because Julie was once again by his side.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts. Lorne requested that no service be held and in lieu of flowers, he requested that donations be made to petrescuebyjudy.com.
