Camille Ann Chaffee, 50, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away suddenly on Thursday March 23, 2017 in Orlando, FL.
Camille, born on January 23, 1967 in Blackfoot, Idaho, was the daughter of Thomas Gilbert Chaffee and Anita (Bonilla) Chaffee. Camille was the longtime companion of Mike Cassano, Jr.
Camille earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in December 1989 and utilized her degree to become a successful business owner in South Florida. Camille was also a proud member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority at Old Dominion University.
Camille moved to Fort Lauderdale in the early 2000’s and launched a very long and successful business career in the Real Estate Industry. She was a person who overflowed with warmth and her smile was as big as her fun-loving spirit. Camille loved spending time with family and friends and had a special place in her heart for animals – especially her Chocolate Lab, SoCo.
Besides her loving parents and companion Mike, Camille is survived by three sisters and their families: Monica (Chaffee) Coleman, husband Troy Coleman; Daphne (Chaffee) Keyes, husband Christopher Keyes and Melody (Chaffee) Mancini, husband Phill Mancini. Camille was a very family-oriented person who took great pride in being a loving aunt to her eleven nieces and nephew: Anabelle, Autumn, Ellie, Hanna, Keegan, Lily, Liv, Scarlet, Skye ,Brienna, Haley and Madison.
Camille’s arrangements in Florida are in the caring guidance of Winter Oak Funeral Home & Cremations in Winter Garden, FL. She requested to be cremated and there will be no viewing.
A Celebration of Camille’s Life will be held at Braehead Farm on Friday April 7, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Braehead Farm was one of Camille’s favorite places in Fredericksburg, VA where she loved spending time with her nieces and nephew. Dress for Camille’s Celebration of Life is casual.
