Charlotte Ann James, 73 of Windermere, FL and formerly of Midland, Texas passed away on August 1, 2017 at Florida Hospital Celebration in Celebration, Florida with her loving family by her side.
Charlotte was born on January 28, 1944 in Lubbock, Texas, the daughter of the late George Mullenix and Sarah (Jackson) Mullenix.
Charlotte worked for many years in the Hospitality industry, as a Restaurant Manager and a Concierge. She enjoyed shopping and decorating her home. She devoted a lot of her time to helping raise her grandson who has special needs. Her family was very important to her. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend.
She is survived by three children: Betsy Drews and (John) of Washington, Stacy Edwards and (Andrew) of Windermere, FL and Jerry James and (Soo) of Midland, TX. Four grandchildren: Zachary Luna and Austin Edwards of Windermere, FL, Dillon James and (Torii), of Austin, TX and Jessica Hopkins and (Zsavi) of NM. Two great grandchildren: Lilly-Ann James and Ryleigh-Lynn James of Austin, TX. One brother: Don Mullenix and (Grace) of Leesburg, FL. Nephew: John Mullenix of St. Petersburg, FL. Two Nieces: Donna Cocca and (Jon) and Linda Lyman and (Rick) of California.
